You will be cared for and have consultations with 5 specialist weight loss surgery professionals who form part of the AOS team.

What's Included:

3 hr pre-operative assessment (usually a Saturday morning) with:

• Dr Andrew Johnson. Consultant Physician, Endocrinologist, Diabetologist and Obesity Specialist.
• Sharon Bates Bariatric Nurse Specialist/Counsellor
• Faith Toogood Specialist Nutritionist

Appointment Includes:

• Medical and Endocrine assessment
• Nutritional assessment
• Explanation
• Demonstration
• Life style changes with a band
• Examination and clinical investigations

Pre-operative Investigations:

• ECG
• Blood tests
• Urinalysis
• Gastroscopy  - you will meet your surgeon and be able to ask them more questions at this consultation.
