IASO (The International Association for the Study of Obesity)
The International Association for the Study of Obesity (IASO) is an umbrella organisation for national associations which comprises 49 Member Associations, representing 53 countries. In 2002, the International Association for the Study of Obesity and the International Obesity TaskForce (IOTF) merged to form one organisation, IASO, to create a strengthened organisation with a truly global reach to tackle the obesity epidemic.
