 Testimonials: Cathy's StoryI'm Cathy, aged 39. I was overweight as a child and diagnosed as a type 2 diabetic in my early teens. I was constantly trying new diets with no success, but then in 2003 after two years of waiting for NHS funding for a banding operation, I learned about the possibility of travelling to Lyon for private treatment.
